PPCRV gets 98% of transmitted votes from Comelec

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) reported Monday night that it has received transmission of election returns but initially lacked actual data.

By Tuesday afternoon, PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson informed media that the organization had acquired almost 98% of transmitted votes from Comelec, resolving earlier discrepancies.

Singson expressed gratitude towards Comelec Chairman George Garcia for providing the promised data and praised his integrity and responsiveness.

PPCRV continues to work closely with ComeLEC to ensure election transparency despite initial delays in receiving fully processable data.

The church-based watchdog remains optimistic about full clarity on the matter, emphasizing that having eyes on the data is crucial for transparency.
