PPCRV gets 98% of votes, processing ongoing

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) received its first transmission of poll results from Tabunok, Cebu on Monday evening at 7:32 p.m.

As of Tuesday afternoon, PPCRV reported that nearly 98% of election returns have been transmitted to their transparency server, with 91,083 precincts or 97.28% nationwide having sent electronic votes.

PPCRV spokesperson Ana De Villa-Singson noted that the remaining 2.72% will likely come from areas in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and overseas absentee voting regions.

Singson also revealed that some areas, particularly in NCR, Northern Mindanao, and Soccsksargen, have yet to transmit any results due to possible technical difficulties.

PPCRV is working diligently to process these transmitted poll results and has received 5,406 physical election returns for their parallel count verification.
