Angge Poyos MVP-chanted as UST clinches Final Four berth

Angge Poyos was serenaded with MVP chants by University of Santo Tomas fans during their final elimination game against La Salle on Saturday.

UST secured a 22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-15 victory, clinching the last twice-to-beat berth for the Final Four in UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball.

Poyos, a standout rookie, contributed 22 points with 18 spikes, three blocks, and an ace, solidifying her case for MVP and Rookie of the Year.

Despite her impressive performance, Poyos remains focused on the team's goal to win the championship as they enter the Final Four duel against La Salle on Sunday, May 5.

UST aims to capitalize on its twice-to-beat advantage in the upcoming Final Four match, seeking to end a five-year Finals drought and secure their first title since Season 72 in 2010.
