NGCP restores power in parts of Bicol after Rolly

As of Tuesday, Nov 10, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) had restored electricity in parts of Bicol after Super Typhoon Rolly.

Transmission services were restored to Camarines Sur and Sorsogon provinces, as well as parts of Albay.

The NGCP deployed over 420 personnel to expedite power line restoration, energizing lines ahead of schedule.

By Sunday, Nov 8, partial power was restored in mainland Bicol through an 'islanding operation' utilizing the Bacon-Manito Power Plant and a temporary connection to the main grid.
