Authorities arrest 11 drug suspects, seize P970K worth shabu Rizal, Laguna, Zamboanga

From Tuesday to Thursday (Sept. 17 to 19), authorities arrested eight suspected drug pushers in Rizal and Laguna provinces, seizing more than P957,000 worth of shabu and an illegal firearm.

On Wednesday afternoon in Zamboanga City, anti-narcotics agents seized P13.6 million worth of crystal meth (shabu) from a member of the Philippine Coast Guard, a police sergeant, and his wife during an entrapment operation in Barangay Boalan.

'Arthur,' 'Ritchina,' and 'Billy' were apprehended on Wednesday morning in Taytay, Rizal, after selling P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Sta. Ana.

Samuel, Niraj, and Misiel were arrested during a sting operation in Cabuyao City, Laguna, yielding four sachets of meth weighing 25 grams worth P170,000 on Tuesday evening.

'Tae' and 'Set' were nabbed by police anti-narcotics agents after selling P500 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Binangonan, Rizal, on Thursday morning, resulting in the seizure of four plastic sachets and two knot-tied plastics containing methamphetamine weighing 65.83 grams valued at P447,644.

All eleven individuals are now under police custody and will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
