P843K worth of shabu, 2 firearms seized in Laguna, Quezon buy-bust ops

Police operations on Friday, Saturday (Sept. 13-14), and Sunday (Sept. 15) resulted in the seizure of P843,000 worth of crystal meth and two illegal firearms from three suspected drug traffickers in Laguna towns.

In separate buy-bust operations, law enforcers arrested 'Jeffrey' in Santa Cruz for selling shabu to an undercover officer and found him with a .357 revolver.

The same team later apprehended 'Erickson' in the same town, seizing 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000 and an illegal .45 pistol.

In Majayjay, police arrested 'Anthony' for possessing four sachets of meth valued at P102,136.

On Saturday and Sunday in Lopez and Gumaca towns in Quezon province, three alleged drug traffickers were arrested yielding more than P1 million worth of shabu.

The seizures included six sachets weighing 45 grams from 'Rocky' and 'Dardo,' and one sachet from 'Billy,' with street values totaling over a million pesos.

Quezon police are investigating the source of the drugs peddled by Rocky, Billy, and Dardo, who face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
