PDEA, police seize over P2M worth of shabu, arrest seven suspects

On Saturday, April 6, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives seized P680,000 worth of shabu and arrested two alleged traffickers in Pasig City.

Later that night, another joint operation by PDEA operatives and local police in Barangay Santa Cruz, Antipolo City, led to the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000 along with drug paraphernalia.

Separately on Tuesday, April 9, two more drug suspects were arrested in Cainta town, Rizal province, where police confiscated shabu worth about P340,000 during a buy-bust operation.

In another development on Wednesday, April 10, three suspected big-time drug traffickers were arrested and over P1.4 million worth of shabu was seized in separate operations in Rizal and Batangas provinces.

Brigadier General Andre Perez Dizon, Bicol police chief, reported that 225 grams of shabu worth around P1.53 million was recovered from a high-value suspect identified as alias 'Say' who is originally from Baseco Port Area in Manila.
