Police seize over 214 kg shabu worth P776.8M in Cavite, Rizal buy-bust ops

Police seized a total of 214 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (shabu) valued at over P770 million from three drug traffickers in separate buy-bust operations on Monday night in Imus City, Cavite and another 1,010 grams worth around P6.8 million in Taytay, Rizal province on Wednesday.

In the first operation, police arrested two suspects named 'Larry' and 'Jan,' who sold shabu worth P1 million to a poseur-buyer and were found with 210 kilograms of methamphetamine valued at approximately P748 million.

On Wednesday night in Rizal province, another team apprehended four suspects - 'Oscar,' 'Verly Ann,' 'Sittie Aina,' and 'Jesus' - seizing 1,010 grams of shabu worth around P6.8 million during a buy-bust operation.

The suspects from both operations are considered high-value individuals in the local drug trade and were detained for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Police also seized mobile phones and vehicles used by the suspects to investigate potential drug-related transactions.
