P1.3M shabu seized from six drug traffickers in Rizal

Police in Rizal province seized P1,040,000 worth of shabu from six suspected drug traffickers arrested on Tuesday through Thursday.

In Tanay town, 'Dave' and 'Dion' were apprehended after selling P19,000 worth of shabu to an undercover cop; they were also found with 100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000.

The suspects identified as high-value individuals in the local drug trade had a mobile phone and motorcycle used in their illegal activities confiscated.

In Taytay town, 'Arnold' and 'Bunso' were arrested early Wednesday morning with six sachets containing 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000.

On Thursday, Oct. 17, police anti-narcotics agents arrested two female drug suspects in Rodriguez, Rizal during a buy-bust operation and seized more than P190,000 worth of shabu.

The duo yielded eight plastic sachets containing 28 grams of shabu weighing about P190,400 as per the Dangerous Drugs Board valuation.

Authorities are investigating the source of the illegal substance, and all suspects will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
