Poe questions why Duque not suspended

Senator Grace Poe questioned why Health Secretary Francisco Duque III has not been suspended despite numerous probes into alleged misuse of pandemic funds.

Poe cited previous suspensions of PhilHealth and DOH officials over similar issues, asking if the same judgment should apply to Duque.

She referenced an October 2020 Ombudsman resolution that imposed six-month preventive suspensions on eight PhilHealth executives for misappropriation of P2 billion in IRM funds.
