PNP to conduct random checks at quarantine hotels

The Philippine National Police (PNP) will conduct random visits to business establishments and quarantine hotels in Alert Level 3 areas following a directive from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

This initiative aims to ensure compliance with public health protocols after an overseas Filipino traveler skipped hotel quarantine on December 23, 2021, to attend a party and visit restaurants in Makati.

PNP Chief Police General Dionardo Carlos warned that there is no room for complacency during the health emergency.
