PNP sets up checkpoints for 'NCR Plus' curfew and health checks

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has established checkpoints within Metro Manila and neighboring provinces under general community quarantine ('NCR Plus') for curfew enforcement and health protocol checks.

Checkpoints will remain operational during curfew hours but will not restrict motorist movement outside of these times, except to caution or intervene in flagrant violations.

Brig. Gen. Ildebrandi Usana, PNP spokesperson, stated that the expanded quarantine boundary aims to contain the spread of COVID-19.
