PNP: Over 176K NCR residents violate quarantine rules

As of Wednesday, the Philippine National Police reported over 176,000 quarantine violators in the National Capital Region since the implementation of Alert Level 3.

On Tuesday alone, there were 9,822 new violations, with a daily average of around 9,783 from October 16 to November 2.

Approximately 59% of violators received warnings, 34% were fined, and 7% faced other sanctions.

A total of 132,931 people violated minimum public health standards, while 42,268 individuals breached curfew rules in Metro Manila.

Additionally, 900 non-APORs (authorized persons outside residence) were caught outdoors without valid reasons.
