31K affected by granular lockdowns nationwide

As of Monday, 31,178 people nationwide are affected by granular lockdowns in 432 areas.

Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año said during President Duterte's talk that granular lockdowns have been effective in curbing the spread of COVID-19 alongside the new alert level system.

In Metro Manila alone, there were 45 areas under granular lockdown as of Sunday, decreasing from 52 previously. The PNP has deployed personnel and force multipliers to ensure security and adherence to health standards.
