PNP logs 25 new COVID cases, active infections drop to 648

On Monday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported 25 new COVID-19 cases among its personnel, bringing the total infections to 48,589.

The number of recoveries increased to 47,814 with active cases dropping to 648 from Sunday's count of 684.

No new deaths were reported, keeping the death toll at 127.

Vaccination rates among PNP personnel remain high: 97.34% are fully vaccinated (218,901 out of 224,890), 2.28% await their second dose (5,125), and 43.73% have received booster shots (95,736).

Only 0.38% remain unvaccinated (864 personnel).
