PNP reports 2 more deaths, 240 recoveries from COVID-19

As of Tuesday, the total number of PNP personnel who have died from COVID-19 is now 55.

Two more deaths were reported on Monday and Sunday respectively, including a 46-year-old policeman with pre-existing conditions and a 39-year-old female non-uniformed personnel.

Meanwhile, around 240 police officers recovered from the virus, bringing the total recovery count to 17,654 as of Sunday night.

The PNP also reported an additional 107 new cases on Monday, with 1,930 active cases in total.
