DFA: Two more Filipinos abroad die from COVID-19

Two more Filipinos abroad have succumbed to COVID-19, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,147.

The total number of cases abroad has risen to 18,380 with 23 new infections while recoveries climbed to 11,274 after four more recuperated from the illness.

Currently, there are 5,959 patients still undergoing treatment.

In Asia and the Pacific region, there are 3,591 cases with 1,114 patients under treatment, 2,448 recoveries, and 29 deaths.

In the Middle East or Africa, a total of 10,453 Filipinos have tested positive for COVID-19; 3,804 are still undergoing treatment, 5,902 have recovered, and 747 have died.
