Duterte: PH doing well vs COVID-19

President Rodrigo Duterte said on Monday that the Philippines is doing well in its fight against COVID-19 compared to other countries.

Duterte praised Health Secretary Francisco Duque III for leading the government's pandemic response efforts, calling him a hero.

The president noted that while new cases were high at 7,255, recoveries also increased by 9,214, bringing the total number of recoveries to 975,234.
