PNP: 278 more cops recover from COVID-19

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that as of Wednesday, April 7, 2021, the total number of police officers who have recovered from COVID-19 is 13,846.

On the same day, there were 208 new cases, bringing the cumulative number of PNP members infected since March 2020 to 16,430 with 2,544 active cases and 40 deaths.

The update also noted that 4,387 police personnel have been vaccinated against COVID-19; 2,865 received Sinovac vaccines while 1,522 were inoculated with AstraZeneca. Additionally, 1,063 officers have received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine.
