DFA: Two more Filipinos abroad die from COVID-19

Two more Filipinos abroad died from COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total death toll to 1,068.

The Department of Foreign Affairs also reported 18 new cases and 45 recoveries among overseas Filipinos.

As of now, there are 5,892 patients still receiving treatment.

Previously, on Wednesday, the DFA recorded 12 new cases and five recoveries, increasing the total case count to 17,082 and recovery tally to 10,122.

The Asia Pacific region has reported 3,349 cases with 1,028 patients still undergoing treatment, 2,295 recoveries, and 26 fatalities.
