PNP: 50 more cops recover from COVID-19

As of Friday, October 16, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that 50 more police officers have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 5,900.

The active cases within the PNP decreased to 666, while 71 new infections were recorded, raising the total case count to 6,586.

Recoveries and new cases continued to fluctuate over the past few days; on Wednesday, October 14, 130 more personnel recovered from COVID-19, increasing the recovery total to 5,858 with 29 new infections reported.
