DFA: 3 more Filipinos abroad die from COVID-19

As of Tuesday October 20, the death toll among Filipinos abroad due to COVID-19 has risen to 815 with three new fatalities reported.

The total number of cases increased to 11,178 after 26 more individuals tested positive for the illness.

Recoveries have climbed to 7,234 with 33 new recoveries, while about 3,129 Filipinos are still undergoing treatment overseas.

In Asia and the Pacific region, there were 1,779 cases recorded, of which 511 patients are currently being treated.

The Middle East and Africa have seen a total of 7,369 cases with 4,542 recoveries and 532 fatalities.
