PLDT beats Akari in PVL All-Filipino Conference

PLDT's Savi Davison led her team to a sweet revenge against Akari in the PVL All-Filipino Conference rivalry match at PhilSports Arena this Saturday.

Davison, who was sidelined last year due to an injury, scored 15 points as PLDT won decisively with sets of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-15.

The win marked PLDT's first victory over Akari since their controversial semifinal loss in the Reinforced Conference last year.

Davison emphasized her focus on helping the team move past their difficulties from last season and start the new year on a high note with a 4-2 record.

In earlier games this Saturday, Farm Fresh faced Nxled at 1:30 p.m., while Choco Mucho took on ZUS Coffee at 4 p.m.
