PLDT, Akari face off in PVL All-Filipino Conference rematch

PLDT and Akari will face off in Saturday's Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference match at the PhilSports Arena.

The rivalry between PLDT and Akari stems from a controversial semifinal duel last year, where a late call affected the series outcome; PLDT is eager to reclaim their win after losing to Akari 25-22, 18-25, 22-25, 26-24, 17-15.

Savi Davison of PLDT expressed excitement about playing against Akari, noting that rivalries make games more intense and meaningful.

Akari coach Taka Minowa focused on analyzing past games to improve the team's performance in the upcoming matches.

Other matches scheduled for Saturday include Farm Fresh vs Nxled at 1:30 p.m. and ZUS Coffee vs Choco Mucho at 4 p.m.
