PLDT secures fourth seed in PVL All-Filipino Conference

PLDT secured the fourth seed in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference with a decisive 25-20, 25-16, 25-15 victory over ZUS Coffee on Saturday.

Savi Davison led PLDT with 17 points off 14 attacks and three blocks, while Majoy Baron contributed significantly with 10 points including two aces.

PLDT's eighth win in 11 matches sets up a rematch with ZUS Coffee in the one-game playoff phase on Thursday at PhilSports Arena, where PLDT will aim to advance directly to the best-of-three quarterfinals.

Coach Rald Ricafort emphasized that his team needs to avoid complacency and maintain focus as they prepare for tougher competition ahead, noting that the mindset was to perform thinking of the upcoming pairing with ZUS Coffee.

Creamline (10-1), Petro Gazz (10-1) and Cignal (8-3) finished in the top three, securing their playoff positions.
