Philippines to organize flights for stranded Europeans on Dec. 10, 13

The Philippines will organize two special commercial 'Bayanihan' flights on Dec. 10 and 13 to bring home stranded Filipinos in Europe due to travel restrictions amid the Omicron variant.

As of now, there are approximately 140 Filipinos stranded in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, and Italy.

Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Sarah Lou Arriola urged Filipinos with repatriation concerns to contact their nearest embassy for travel arrangements.
