Philippines surpasses 66K COVID-19 deaths

The Philippines has surpassed 66,000 coronavirus-related deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Quezon City leads with the most number of COVID-19 deaths at 2,672, followed by Cebu and Bulacan.

As of February 20, the country recorded 895 new cases and 74 deaths in the past week, marking a 19% decrease from the previous week's figures.

The Philippines has logged over 4 million coronavirus infections since the start of the pandemic, with most patients having recovered.
