COVID-19 positivity rates surge in South Cotabato, Misamis Oriental

The COVID-19 positivity rates increased significantly in South Cotabato and Misamis Oriental between February 18 and 25, according to OCTA Research.

South Cotabato's rate rose from 2.8% to 13%, while Misamis Oriental's climbed from 4.3% to 6.5%.

In contrast, Metro Manila saw a negligible decrease in positivity rates from 1.7% to 1.6%.

Other provinces with rising positivity rates include Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Davao del Sur, Iloilo, Pampanga, and Pangasinan.
