Philippines routs Macau to reach AVC Challenge Cup quarterfinals

The Philippine women's volleyball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the AVC Challenge Cup in Indonesia with a dominant 3-0 victory over Macau on Monday, June 19.

Faith Nisperos led the way with 11 points, including three aces and eight attacks, while AC Miner contributed 10 points from seven attacks, two blocks, and an ace.

The team also excelled in blocking with 11 successful block attacks compared to Macau's two. The Philippines' strong defensive play limited Macau to just nine points in the final set.
