Indonesia sweeps Philippines in AVC Challenge Cup

Indonesia defeated the Philippine women's volleyball team in straight sets, 25-17, 25-20, 25-10, in the AVC Challenge Cup for Women on Tuesday.

This loss follows a similar defeat to Indonesia at last month’s Southeast Asian Games where the Philippines lost the bronze medal match.

In their most competitive set, the Philippines trailed by just two points before Indonesia sealed the victory with three unanswered points.

The Philippine team will face India in the quarterfinals while Indonesia plays Australia.
