Philippines receives 682K Moderna doses

The Philippines received an additional 682,360 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines on Tuesday.

Dr. Teodoro Herbosa, NTF Covid-19 Special Adviser, stated that these doses will be used for general public vaccinations, those aged 12 to 17 years old, and booster shots for priority groups.

Herbosa also announced that the country has administered 42,000 doses of booster shots so far with a target of nine million by year-end.

The government authorized booster shots for health workers and senior citizens this month, but during National Vaccination Days from November 29 to December 1, priority will be given to those yet to receive full vaccination.
