Baguio surpasses DOH's 70% herd immunity target

Baguio City has surpassed the 70% COVID-19 herd immunity target set by the DOH for its adult population.

As of November 15, 75.76% of the city's eligible population (281,000 people) have received full doses, with 91.74% having received at least one dose.

The city also began providing booster shots for healthcare workers on November 17 and plans to start administering boosters to seniors beginning December 6.

Pediatric vaccination is progressing well, with 46.79% of the eligible adolescent group (ages 12-17) having received their first dose.
