Philippines logs 8,004 new coronavirus cases, 93 deaths

The Philippines recorded 8,004 new coronavirus cases and 93 deaths between November 14 and 20, with a daily average of 1,143 cases, marking a 12% decrease from the previous week.

Two severe or critical cases were reported during this period.

ICU bed utilization dropped to 20.9%, while non-ICU beds saw a slight decline in occupancy to 23.1%.

Health authorities also noted that over 31 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, worth P15.6 billion, have been wasted due to expiration or improper storage.
