DOH logs 1,874 new COVID-19 cases, active tally hits 18,348

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,874 new COVID-19 infections on Saturday, increasing the active case tally to 18,348.

This marks the third consecutive day with over 1,000 daily cases.

NCR had the highest number of recent cases at 3,418, followed by Calabarzon (1,801), Western Visayas (1,162), Central Luzon (994), and Central Visayas (982).

The recovery tally increased to 3,949,407 with 795 new recoveries on Friday and 650 on Thursday.

The death toll rose to 64,571 after recording 24 new fatalities on Friday and 20 on Thursday.

As of November 24, the country’s bed occupancy rate was at 23.6%, with 6,694 beds occupied out of a total of 28,412.
