Philippines identifies 4th Omicron case; husband tests positive

The Philippines has identified its fourth case of the Omicron variant, a 38-year-old female from the US who arrived on Dec 10.

She tested positive for COVID-19 three days after arrival and is currently asymptomatic under home quarantine.

Her husband also tested positive but their health status is still being verified by DOH.

DOH has identified 22 close contacts of the case, including household members who are in isolation and will be tested based on existing protocols.
