PH ready for Omicron wave: DOH

The Philippines is ready for a possible Omicron wave as cases continue to increase.

DOH Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega said the country has seen a steady increase in Omicron cases similar to trends observed in South Africa and Europe.

Vega noted that while case numbers have doubled, it's uncertain when the peak will occur but stressed that the country is prepared for the surge.
