DOH distributes first batch of 15K PPE sets

On Wednesday, April 1, the DOH announced that the first batch of one million personal protective equipment (PPE) sets purchased for PHP1.8 billion arrived and are undergoing quality assurance.

The initial 15,000 PPE sets were distributed to six referral hospitals in Luzon, with the remaining 985,000 sets expected to arrive between April 6 and 24.

Vergeire stated that these PPE sets contain eight types of protective gear, making them more comprehensive than those purchased by the Office of the Vice President.

The DOH also delivered PPE sets to 22 recipients from various regions on Tuesday.
