PH stays under Alert Level 2 until Jan 15

The Philippines will remain under Alert Level 2 until January 15 due to an uptick in coronavirus cases.

Under this level, businesses may operate at 50% capacity indoors with only fully vaccinated customers allowed.

Despite the slight rise in infections, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. noted that the country's situation remains stable.

The government also updated its risk classification for countries, adding Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, and Spain to the 'red' list.
