PH receives 5M more vaccine doses, total hits 62.4M

The Philippines received over five million additional doses of Sinovac and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines on Sunday, bringing the total number of vaccine deliveries to 62.4 million since February.

Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the National Task Force Against Covid-19, thanked the US government for donating over two million doses of Pfizer vaccines through COVAX Facility.

Over 18 million Filipinos have been vaccinated against COVID-19 since March 1, with the country recording 2.37 million cases, 2.15 million recoveries, and 36,788 deaths as of Sunday.
