Eastern Visayas fully vaxxes 463K residents against COVID-19

As of September 16, a total of 463,742 residents in Eastern Visayas have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The region has administered 974,470 first and second doses to health workers, senior citizens, those with comorbidities, and essential workers across six provinces and seven cities.

As of September 9, the DOH reported that Eastern Visayas had administered 1,211,193 out of 1,225,770 received doses, achieving a delivery rate of 98.81%.

The region aims to vaccinate 70% of its population this year or early next year if it continues to receive hundreds of thousands of doses per week.
