PH logs over 6K new COVID-19 cases; active tally exceeds 59K

The Philippines reported 6,426 new COVID-19 infections on Monday, June 14, bringing the total case count to 1,322,053.

Active cases increased to over 59K with 91.8% of them mild and 1.3% in critical condition.

The death toll rose by 57 new fatalities to 22,845 while recoveries climbed to 1,240,112 after 7,145 more patients recovered.

On Friday, June 11, the DOH reported 6,686 additional cases, pushing active cases to 61,345 and total infections to 1,300,349.

The positivity rate on Friday was 13.3% out of 49,371 tests.
