Davao City leads in new COVID-19 cases outside Metro Manila

Davao City has the highest number of new COVID-19 cases among local government units outside Metro Manila from June 13 to 19, with an average of 252 daily infections, up from 177 in the previous week.

The city's ICU utilization rate is at a critical level (95%) and hospital bed utilization rate is moderate (67%).

On Thursday, Davao City recorded its highest single-day cases since March 2020 with 482 new infections.

OCTA Research also noted significant one-week growth rates in Valencia, Bukidnon (80%), Cebu City (45%), and Polomolok, South Cotabato (32%).

Iloilo City, Koronadal, and Bacoor City have reached 100% ICU utilization.
