PH administers 43.9M vaccine doses, 3M Sinovac shots arrive

As of September 26, the Philippines has administered 43.9 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

About 23.6 million people are waiting for their second dose while around 20.3 million have received full protection, representing about 26% of the target eligible adult population.

The average daily vaccinations in the last week slightly decreased to 359,982 doses compared to the previous week due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.

Three million additional doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac vaccine arrived on Sunday, bringing the total number of delivered vaccines to over 69 million.
