Galvez proposes mid-October vax for minors

The Philippines' vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. is proposing to start vaccinating children aged 12 to 17 by mid-October.

Priority will be given to minors with comorbidities and children of health workers once President Duterte approves the proposal.

Galvez stated that there are currently over 23 million doses in stock, with an additional 20 million expected to arrive by early October, which is enough to vaccinate around 12 million minors aged 12 to 17.
