Petro Gazz beats Capital1, extends winning streak to seven

Petro Gazz secured a dominant 25-19, 25-18, 25-9 victory over Capital1 on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, extending their winning streak to seven games in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

Led by Myla Pablo and Brooke Van Sickle, Petro Gazz overwhelmed Capital1 with a relentless offensive attack, racking up 48 kills compared to Capital1's 24, while coach Koji Tsuzurabara praised his team’s performance and captain Remy Palma emphasized the importance of practice routines.

Djanel Cheng highlighted better communication as one reason for Petro Gazz's success, noting that Coach Tsuzurabara now brings doughnuts to games to boost morale.

Myla Pablo contributed significantly with 14 points, including 12 kills, one block, and one ace, earning Player of the Game citation, while Brooke Van Sickle added 13 points from attacks.

With this win, Petro Gazz improved to an 8-1 record and will face Galeries Tower on Saturday; meanwhile, Capital1 plays Farm Fresh next Tuesday.
