Petro Gazz beats ZUS Coffee, extends winning streak to 6

Brooke Van Sickle led Petro Gazz to a 25-20, 24-26, 28-26, 25-22 victory over ZUS Coffee in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena.

Van Sickle scored 27 points with 25 attacks and two service aces, while Myla Pablo contributed 22 points from 19 kills and three blocks, helping Petro Gazz extend their winning streak to six games and secure second place with a record of 7-1.

Despite ZUS Coffee's strong performance, including key contributions from Jovelyn Gonzaga and Kate Santiago, Petro Gazz managed to maintain their lead and clinch the win after two hours and eighteen minutes.

Van Sickle expressed her desire for a PVL title, noting that despite their winning streak, the team remains an underdog in the eyes of coach Koji Tsuzurabara.

The victory lifted Petro Gazz to first place in the standings with a 7-1 record, ahead of defending champion Creamline.
