Petecio wins gold, helps PH secure four boxing medals

Pinay boxing ace Nesthy Petecio won her second Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) title by defeating Ratna Devi of Indonesia, after consoling her brother Norlan who lost his bout.

Nesthy's victory helped the Philippines secure four gold medals, five silver medals, and one bronze medal in men’s and women’s boxing at the 32nd SEAG.

Prior to Nesthy's win, she had expressed support for Norlan during his match and looked forward to his performance as he aimed to make a name for himself.
