Paalam, Bascon win gold as PH boxing ends SEA Games

Filipino boxers Carlo Paalam and Paul Bascon won gold medals on Sunday at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

Paalam defeated Indonesia's Aldoms Suguro via unanimous decision in the men's 54kg division, while Bascon secured his win against Thailand's opponent with a split decision.

Nesthy Petecio and Ian Clark Bautista also won gold medals earlier for the Philippines, bringing the country's total to four boxing golds.
