JTF CV Shield tracks, transports stranded students

JTF CV Shield is coordinating with local police commanders to track and transport students stranded due to the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, JTF CV Shield commander, stated this aligns with President Duterte's 'Hatid Estudyante Program'.

The task force aims to gather data on the number of stranded students, their locations, health status, and intended destinations before facilitating their transport or allowing them to return home.

Eleazar also urged people stranded due to ECQ not to immediately go back to their hometowns once the quarantine is downgraded to general community quarantine (GCQ) to prevent spreading COVID-19.
