Antique PDRRMO prepares for Tropical Storm Auring

The Antique Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) is bracing for Tropical Storm Auring, prepositioning personnel and assets in towns like Libertad and Barbaza.

As PAGASA places parts of Iloilo and Capiz under Signal No. 1, the PDRRMO advises Antique residents to prepare for possible adverse conditions, especially in the northern part of the province.

Currently experiencing cloudy to partly cloudy weather due to amihan winds, the PDRRMO expects Auring's full impact late Sunday afternoon or evening.

The PDRRMO has activated 18 personnel and barangay DRRMO operation centers for the next 24 hours, with preemptive evacuations not yet conducted but families in landslide-prone areas are being informed to be alert.
